NAS Media Ltd is the provider of the National Apprenticeship Shows, the National School + College Leaver Shows and the UK Higher Education Expos.

This Privacy and Cookies Policy applies across all of these subsidiaries. When we collect your information, it may be shared across these subsidiaries.

NAS Media Ltd complies to data protection legislation including the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation 2018, as well as having a few core beliefs:

  • User privacy and data protection are human rights. Personal information shall be processed in a lawful transparent manner and we will never distribute or make your personal information public.
  • We have a duty of care with the individuals personal data we collect and will only use this data for the specified, legitimate purpose.
  • We will seek explicit consent before adding you to our mailing lists.

3.0 – What personal information do we collect?
You do not have to give us any personal information in order to use most of this website.

However if you wish find out more information about the events we may collect and store the following information you provide:

  • Name, email address and contact number

You may choose to provide additional voluntary information in the course of your use of this website or interaction with the team that we may also store. For example, when providing your postal address for us to send event materials, we may store this address to continue to send you event materials for future shows.

As with most websites, we use Google Analytics to track user interaction. We use this data to perceive the number of users visiting our site and to better understand how they find and use the website. Details of how Google Analytics uses cookies can be seen here.

Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop us from tracking your visit to this website.

4.0 – How do we use this information?
Information collected may be shared with NAS Media Ltd’s subsidiaries: the National Apprenticeship Shows, the National School + College Leaver Shows and the UK Higher Education Expos.

Data collected will be used to contact you about but is not limited to: information about upcoming events or to answer any requests for more information about the shows. Voluntary information that you provide such as an address will be used to send promotional materials to you.

If you choose to subscribe to our Event Announcements your email address will be forwarded to MailChimp, this is a programme we use for our email marketing. Your email will remain within MailChimp’s database for as long as we continue to use their services or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can request removal from the list by emailing emma@nasevents.co.uk

Information collected from Google Analytics will be used to understand your interaction with our website and the type of audience visiting our website – this may include information such as your geographical location.

We use Google Analytics and MailChimp to process personal data on our behalf. These third parties have been carefully chosen and comply with EU data regulations.

Our website contains links to other websites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for privacy policies or practices of other websites that you choose to link from this site. We encourage you to view their policies so you can understand how they collect, use and share your data.
